Freedom Asset partners with XAgent to enable AI agents to discover and interact with on-chain real-world assets.
AI & Agents ·
Freedom Asset and XAgent have announced a strategic partnership to develop AI agent capabilities within real-world asset markets. Freedom Asset operates a permissionless, multi-chain marketplace for on-chain real-world assets, while XAgent enables users to build and operate autonomous AI agents through natural language. The collaboration aims to let AI agents discover, interact with, and create new use cases for on-chain RWAs, merging autonomous systems with decentralized financial infrastructure.
The partnership represents an expansion of AI agent utility beyond conversational interfaces into domains requiring execution with material consequences. Rather than simple chat interactions, the focus shifts toward agents performing substantive actions within autonomous asset markets. This bridges two previously separate ecosystems—artificial intelligence tooling and tokenized real-world assets—into a single workflow.
The technical and operational viability of this combination remains largely unproven. Existing agent implementations face execution challenges even with basic trading operations; managing complex on-chain RWAs introduces additional layers of risk and coordination. Freedom Asset has flagged forthcoming ecosystem collaborations, but concrete proof points for agent execution in this context have not yet emerged.
