IMD launches an AI agent swarm ecosystem gated by NFT seats, enabling autonomous token and protocol creation with protocol-owned liquidity mechanics and fee redistribution to stakers and inference workers.
AI & Agents ·
Identity.md (IMD) has launched a 2,000-seat AI agent swarm ecosystem where NFT holders operate autonomous workers that execute jobs across a decentralized network. Each NFT seat allows a holder to run an AI worker—powered by Claude or Codex—that accepts tasks such as answering oracle queries, writing contracts, or reviewing other agents' work. The ecosystem enables autonomous creation of custom tokens, protocols, and Uniswap v4 hooks, with community-launched tokens priced in IMD.
The IMD token operates on a deflationary mechanics layer tied to a protocol-owned Uniswap v4 pool called Pool4. When traders sell into the pool, 85% of IMD is burned while remaining revenue flows to stakers and computation workers. The token itself is fixed-supply and only contracts through trading and launchpad activity. The project evolved from an earlier community token (Frenpet, then VIBE) bridged to Ethereum via LayerZero in October 2025, which was renamed and relaunched in May 2026.
The stated vision frames IMD as a "0-person, community-owned billion-dollar meme company" where economic incentives are routed back to stakers, inference workers, and the NFT seat holders powering the network. Current on-chain metrics show approximately $45 million fully diluted valuation on Ethereum with roughly 7.1 million tokens distributed across multiple chains. What remains unclear is adoption velocity among the 2,000 seats and the sustainability of job flow at scale.
