PixVerse has closed a Series C extension round totaling $439 million, bringing cumulative Series C fundraising to that amount. The funding round attracted both new and returning investors, including Alibaba, Lollapalooza Capital, Ivy Capital, and others, alongside returning backers iGlobe Partners and OCBC's LionX Ventures. The capital will support the platform's expansion beyond video generation into games and interactive entertainment.
The expansion centers on R1, PixVerse's real-time world model launched in January 2026, which converts video generation into a continuous, interactive stream responsive to user input. The company has introduced the PixVerse Game Engine, which applies R1 to game creation by letting players and creators interact in natural language while the system generates worlds and mechanics in real time, without reliance on traditional pre-designed assets or production pipelines. PixVerse also plans to deploy the technology for real-time interactive livestreaming with AI-generated characters that respond to viewer input.
PixVerse reports over 150 million users across more than 177 countries. The specific commercial performance of the Game Engine and livestreaming features, as well as whether these new product lines have generated revenue or user traction, remains undisclosed.
