Tether's open-source Mining Development Kit has secured commitments from 15 mining companies and hardware makers including Bitmain, Bitdeer, and Canaan to enable unified cross-platform automated mining operations. The kit, which uses a common interface to coordinate different hardware and mining pools, released version 0.11 at Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano and targets a stable 1.0 release by the end of 2026.
