USD.AI and BSQ Capital Partners launch a joint venture to finance up to $300M in GPU-backed AI compute infrastructure across Asia-Pacific.

USD.AI and BSQ Capital Partners announced a joint venture to provide senior secured, GPU-backed financing to AI compute infrastructure operators across Asia-Pacific. The partnership targets up to $300 million in initial GPU-backed financings, with potential to expand to $1 billion upon achievement of performance milestones. USD.AI is a financing platform for AI compute assets, while BSQ Capital Partners, based in Singapore, will serve as investment manager and originate transactions across markets including Australia, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and India.
USD.AI will supply financing capital and its programmatic underwriting platform, converting high-performance compute hardware into financeable collateral to enable faster execution than traditional lenders offer. BSQ brings regional origination capabilities and relationships in key Asia-Pacific markets. The joint venture addresses a gap in the market: operators hold substantial GPU fleets but face limited financing options from banks lacking tools to underwrite compute hardware as collateral and move at required speeds.
The Asia-Pacific region has become one of the largest sources of new AI compute demand, driven by sovereign AI initiatives, cloud expansion, and independent compute operators. However, specifics about which operators may access this financing, deployment timelines, or how quickly the capital will be deployed remain undisclosed.
