Arbitrum launches a USDG stablecoin growth program with 2M ARB incentives tied to $10M TVL thresholds.
DeFi & Yields ·
The Arbitrum Foundation opened a Stablecoin Growth Program offering 2M $ARB in rewards to protocols that adopt $USDG as their primary stablecoin on Arbitrum One. The program targets the first 10 participants to achieve a 30-day average balance of $10M in $USDG, with each qualifying team eligible to receive up to 200,000 $ARB, capped at $200,000 USD per award.
Beyond the headline balance grants, participants may access performance-based incentives tied to $USDG activity growth, marketing resources, partner introductions, and integration support. Eligibility requires protocols to maintain at least $1M in stablecoin balances at application and a $1M monthly minimum throughout participation. The program covers decentralized exchanges, lending markets, yield products, and payment protocols, with smart contracts required to undergo third-party audit. The 2M $ARB pool remains available through December 31, 2027.
The specific economics of performance-based incentives remain undisclosed in public terms, appearing only in individual agreements between accepted teams and the Foundation. Additionally, the one-time payout structure means crossing the $10M threshold qualifies a participant for a single balance grant rather than recurring payments, though the growth incentives operate as a separate component with terms not yet calculable by applicants.
