Binance delisting 8 margin trading pairs including HUMA, LAYER, NXPC, UMA, and others effective 2026-08-21.

Binance announced the delisting of eight margin trading pairs, effective August 21, 2026 at 06:00 UTC. The removed pairs span both cross-margin and isolated-margin markets, including HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, NXPC/USDC, UMA/USDC, AUCTION/USDC, BEAMX/USDC, CETUS/USDC, and VELODROME/USDC. HUMA, LAYER, and NXPC will be removed from both cross-margin and isolated-margin offerings, while the remaining five pairs affect cross-margin trading only.
The delisting reflects Binance's ongoing review of margin trading pair liquidity and risk. Margin trading allows users to borrow funds to amplify position sizes, and exchanges periodically retire pairs with insufficient trading volume or risk concentrations. The move signals lower perceived demand or stability for these specific assets within Binance's margin ecosystem.
It remains unclear whether the delisting reflects broader concerns about these tokens' fundamentals, or is purely a liquidity-driven decision. Users currently holding leveraged positions in these pairs will need to close or adjust their exposure before the August deadline.
