Bitwise has launched PPLUS, a tokenized real-world asset vault on Ember Protocol, now available for lending and collateral use on Bluefin Lend. The vault targets 10%+ net yield through a leveraged credit strategy and is restricted to non-U.S. investors, with disclaimers noting risks of partial or total loss. PPLUS holds three primary asset classes: PST tokens representing short-duration cross-border payment financing to institutions, sUSDai tokens backed by GPUs powering AI infrastructure, and PRIME tokens providing tokenized claims secured by prime home equity through a partnership with Figure.
The vault structure divides operational roles between Bitwise and Ember Protocol. Bitwise curates the portfolio, selects individual positions, and sets leverage parameters, while Ember operates the underlying smart contract infrastructure and executes transactions. PPLUS represents an expansion of Bitwise's vault offerings beyond lending strategies into a higher-risk, higher-return positioning along the risk-return curve.
