Bullish extends $100M credit line to USD.AI for GPU-collateralized lending, expanding DeFi's role in AI infrastructure financing.
DeFi & Yields ·
Bullish, a crypto exchange, extended a $100 million debt financing facility to USD.AI, a stablecoin protocol built by Permian Labs, to support GPU-collateralized lending. The facility represents a strategic move by Bullish to integrate with the stablecoin ecosystem while positioning itself within AI infrastructure financing.
USD.AI currently has over $225 million in locked crypto assets underlying its protocol. Bullish has committed to listing the sUSDai token on its platform with new trading pairs, expanding liquidity access for the protocol's users. The financing structure links traditional debt markets with decentralized credit mechanisms built around hardware collateral.
The arrangement underscores a growing intersection between DeFi lending protocols and AI infrastructure financing, though the longer-term sustainability of GPU-collateralized debt markets and institutional appetite for such assets remain to be tested at scale.
