Doppler Finance launches $XDP token with staking privileges and planned Safety Module for protocol coverage.
DeFi & Yields ·
Doppler Finance has introduced XDP, its native utility and governance token designed to coordinate protocol participation, decentralized governance, and ecosystem growth. The token features three primary functions: staking-based Protocol Privileges available at launch, governance rights, and a planned Safety Module for protocol coverage.
Protocol Privileges enable XDP stakers to access advanced vaults and strategies, receive priority access to new products, participate in ecosystem campaigns, and unlock future protocol-specific functionality. Governance allows XDP holders to participate in decisions regarding protocol parameters, treasury initiatives, ecosystem incentive programs, supported products, risk framework evolution, and future protocol functionality. The Safety Module, planned for a future phase, will permit eligible users to allocate staked XDP to protocol coverage pools and potentially earn additional XDP incentives for accepting defined risk exposure.
XDP has a total supply of 10 billion tokens. Details regarding XDP staking mechanics and the Safety Module launch timeline have not yet been announced.
