Evernorth partners with Ripple, Coinbase, Kraken, and BitGo to deploy 473M XRP treasury into institutional strategies and DeFi opportunities starting Q4 2026.
DeFi & Yields ·
Evernorth, a publicly listed XRP treasury company, has selected Ripple, Coinbase, Kraken, and BitGo as institutional execution partners to begin deploying its 473 million XRP holdings into investment strategies beginning in Q4 2026. The partnerships were chosen based on each entity's institutional infrastructure, regulatory licensing, financial strength, and track record managing assets for public companies and asset managers. The arrangement aims to generate returns on XRP holdings while maintaining appropriate risk management, reporting standards, and counterparty oversight.
The deployment represents Evernorth's shift from passive holding to active treasury management following its Nasdaq listing under ticker XRPN. Hugo Jeandesboz, the newly appointed chief investment officer who previously served as co-CIO at Coinbase Asset Management, is leading the program. The company plans to layer in direct participation on the XRP Ledger once its native lending and on-chain credit features are operational, positioning itself to deploy capital into emerging credit markets on the network.
Whether the institutional partnerships will materialize at the planned timeline and how returns will compare against direct holding remains unspecified. The announcement had no immediate price impact on either XRPN stock or XRP itself at the time of reporting.
