Flying Tulip Swap launches with zero platform fees, limit order yield, and integrated lending functionality.
DeFi & Yields ·
Flying Tulip has launched an updated Swap interface with zero platform fees and expanded functionality. Users can execute trades directly from their wallet or from a platform balance, set limit orders that generate yield while pending, and complete a single-step swap-to-earn action that deposits assets into the Lend module. The interface consolidates wallet swaps, collateral swaps, and limit orders into one system.
The mechanics operate on-chain without gas charges. Users holding eligible assets in the Lend module can swap collateral within their margin account without withdrawing to a wallet, or trade directly from their wallet without pre-depositing. Limit orders allow users to specify tokens, amounts, and prices, with eligible supplied assets earning yield while orders await execution. The swap-to-earn feature lets users deposit swapped assets into Lend in a single transaction, making them eligible for yield or usable as collateral. A new History page tracks swap activity, and sessions now require a six-digit PIN that users create and enter to confirm transactions; the PIN is never stored, and three failed attempts clear the session.
Outstanding questions include the range of supported tokens, yield rates on pending limit orders, and whether collateral liquidation mechanics during pending orders have been stress-tested in volatile conditions.
