Research tracking staking concentration across 15 blockchains identified 57 entities controlling roughly $229 billion in network-securing capital. The analysis found that the Hyper Foundation commands the largest single staking position in crypto, holding 48.8 percent of all staked HYPE tokens.
The concentration measure reflects how staking power—and thus validator control—distributes across networks. A staking entity's share of a chain's total staked supply indicates its influence over network security and governance. The Hyper Foundation's stake represents both the scale of capital in HYPE staking and the degree to which that capital is held by a single entity rather than dispersed among many participants.
