Hyperliquid accumulated approximately $240 billion in perpetual futures volume over a 30-day period, according to CryptoRank data, significantly outpacing other chains and ecosystems in the category. Arbitrum ranked second with $47.2 billion in volume, trailed by Solana at $46 billion, Lighter at $45.6 billion, Ethereum mainnet at $44.9 billion, and edgeX at $42.3 billion.
The ranking underscores Hyperliquid's dominance in the perpetual futures market relative to established layer-one and layer-two networks. The five-fold volume gap between the leader and second place suggests a concentrated flow of derivatives trading activity through Hyperliquid's infrastructure.
What remains unclear is whether this volume concentration reflects sustained user preference, temporary market conditions, or structural advantages in Hyperliquid's fee or execution model compared to competitors.
