Jito rolls out Direct Bundle Ingest, lifting landed bundles 16.9%

New BAM feature aims to streamline how transaction bundles reach validators on Solana, with early data showing sharp gains in both execution and tips collected.
Jito has introduced BAM Direct Bundle Ingest, a new mechanism for routing transaction bundles on the Solana network. According to a post from the project, the update has produced a 16.9% increase in landed bundles, meaning a larger share of submitted bundles are now successfully included in blocks rather than failing or being dropped.
Alongside the improvement in landing rates, total bundle tips rose 101.5%, more than doubling the value flowing through the system, per the same announcement. Bundle tips are payments users attach to transaction bundles to incentivize validators to prioritize their inclusion, so a jump of this size suggests both higher demand for bundle submission and more efficient processing once a bundle reaches a validator.
Direct Bundle Ingest changes how bundles are delivered into the block-building pipeline, a mechanic positioned as a core part of Jito's broader BAM framework for organizing transaction flow on Solana. By shortening or simplifying the path bundles take before reaching validators, the update appears to reduce the failure points that previously caused bundles to miss inclusion, which would help explain the reported rise in landed-bundle rates.
The release lands amid a wider stretch of infrastructure and market activity tied to SOL, including network-level throughput changes and growing institutional and DeFi activity across the ecosystem. Separately, trading volume across major exchanges has also been climbing, with spot volume across 14 large platforms reported at $696.7 billion for September, underscoring broader market activity during the same period, as detailed by WuBlockchain.
What remains unclear is the time frame over which the 16.9% and 101.5% figures were measured, as well as whether the gains reflect a sustained shift in bundle-processing performance or an early, short-term snapshot following launch. Further data from Jito or independent validators tracking bundle-landing rates over subsequent weeks would help confirm whether Direct Bundle Ingest delivers a lasting improvement to Solana's transaction-ordering infrastructure.
