Kamino has integrated with PayBox, a payments vault launched by MoonPay, to enable users of ChatGPT and Claude to earn rewards on USDC deposits held in Solana-based vaults through AI interfaces. PayBox, which launched in mid-2026, secures transactions using multiparty computation (MPC), passkeys, and user-defined spending limits, allowing crypto and card payments to be initiated directly through conversational AI.
The integration expands the growing ecosystem of financial services accessible via large language models. ChatGPT has become a platform with serious implications for crypto and finance, with integrations now spanning onramps, wallet management, and decentralized finance interactions. PayBox joins earlier moves by MoonPay to embed crypto purchasing directly into OpenAI's App Store and Coinbase's Base MCP protocol, which similarly enables ChatGPT and Claude users to manage wallets and interact with DeFi applications through AI agents.
It remains unclear whether Kamino's integration will support additional stablecoin pairs or layer-one chains beyond Solana, or what yield mechanics underpin the rewards offered to vault depositors through the AI interface.
