Kamino launches Auto Rollover feature allowing fixed-rate borrowers to renew loans at same/lower rates, switch to variable rates, or enter gradual auto-repay.
DeFi & Yields ·
Kamino has launched Auto Rollover for fixed-rate borrowers on Solana, which automatically renews loans at the same or lower rate when terms end, switches to variable rates if matching fixed-rate reserves lack liquidity, or initiates gradual auto-repayment from collateral as a last resort. The feature operates on a priority basis through a keeper bot during a preset rollover window, with rollover enabled by default and able to be disabled. If auto-repayment triggers, an increasing fee structure incentivizes early repayment, as liquidators earn growing bonuses each day the repayment window extends. Kamino's AUTO/wYLDS Fixed Rate Multiply vault is the first implementation, offering 30-day fixed-rate terms at 5.3% borrow rate.
