Metric, a propAMM DEX using external price feeds, has launched an unannounced points system for swaps and LP farming across Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Robinhood Chain.

Metric, a propAMM decentralized exchange that sources prices from external feeds rather than pool-based mechanisms, has activated a points system for user activity across Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Robinhood Chain. The system awards points to users who execute swaps routed through Metric's own pools and who provide liquidity to tokenized stock pools; users must verify their wallet to earn points and track referrals. Over the past 30 days, the protocol recorded $4.5B in trading volume with $280M transacted in the prior 24 hours, while maintaining $11.5M in total value locked.
Unlike conventional automated market makers where the pool sets prices, Metric integrates external price feeds from sources like Chainlink and Pyth, allowing the pool to execute orders against those rates. This design enables anyone to launch pools or contribute liquidity to public ones, with major aggregators routing volume to all available pools from inception. Tokenized stocks priced directly from underlying share prices avoid disruption from corporate actions like splits and dividends.
The points initiative remains unannounced on official channels, appearing only on the application interface. The mechanics suggest early participation may carry future token airdrop potential, though no distribution plan or token timeline has been disclosed. It remains unclear whether the points system will eventually convert to a token, what percentage of any token supply might be allocated to point holders, or when such a conversion might occur.
