MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin entering a bull market driven by institutional custody and tokenization, and suggests Bitcoin-backed stablecoins yielding 6–8% could emerge.

Michael Saylor, Strategy Executive Chairman, said Bitcoin is entering a bull market, with institutional custody expansion and securities tokenization expected to drive growth over the next 12–24 months. He disclosed that Strategy has repurchased roughly $1.5 billion of STRC to support its price and maintains cash reserves covering approximately 3.5 years of dividend payments.
Saylor also outlined a potential product category: dollar-pegged stablecoins backed by Bitcoin could offer annual yields between 6% and 8%. He did not announce concrete plans to issue such instruments, only noting they could emerge as a market possibility.
The remarks reflect confidence in institutional adoption pathways, but the timeline for yield-bearing Bitcoin-backed stablecoins and the mechanisms underpinning such yields remain unspecified.
