Robinhood Chain recorded its strongest trading day since mid-July, with decentralized exchange volume reaching $443 million and over 3 million transactions processed. Active wallets on the chain climbed above 115,000, while volumes tripled from an early August low near $140 million. The surge was driven by meme tokens and real-world assets, with Cashcat reaching a $250 million market cap and launchpad protocol Pons climbing 30% to $94.9 million, both hitting new all-time highs.
Real-world asset tokenization accelerated significantly, with total RWA value on the chain reaching $41.9 million across 202 assets and net onchain RWA flows spiking to roughly $85 million in a single day—the largest since launch. Developers on the chain have created hybrid products combining memecoins with stock tokens, allowing holders of meme assets to receive stock token airdrops. Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev acknowledged in a recent podcast appearance that builders constructed applications the company had not anticipated, blending crypto and equity tokens in unexpected ways.
What remains unclear is the sustainability of the volume surge following several days of parabolic growth and whether token additions beyond Cashcat to Robinhood's platform will accelerate. The next mainline listing decision and which sectors Robinhood favors in future listings will signal the chain's trajectory and ecosystem maturation.
