Robinhood Chain holds $700M in onchain assets three weeks after launch
DeFi & Yields ·
The network's stablecoin balances and DeFi deposits point to fast early adoption, with a large share of funds routed through Morpho.
Robinhood Chain has accumulated roughly $700 million in onchain assets within three weeks of its launch, according to a report citing @EntropyAdvisors. Of that total, $430 million is held in stablecoins, while about $500 million has been deposited across various DeFi protocols on the chain.
The largest single allocation within that DeFi activity is concentrated in Morpho, which holds approximately $200 million and is generating a yield of about 7% through Steakhouse Financial. This places roughly 40% of all DeFi deposits on Robinhood Chain into a single protocol integration just weeks after the network went live.
A notable feature of this setup is accessibility: Morpho is built directly into Robinhood's main application, meaning users can access the yield-generating protocol without needing to set up or interact with a separate Robinhood Wallet. This design choice removes a typical friction point for retail users engaging with DeFi products, potentially explaining the speed at which deposits have accumulated.
The figures have been corroborated by a separate account describing the same $700 million total, the $500 million in DeFi deposits, and the 7% yields earned through Morpho directly from within the Robinhood app, matching the details reported by WuBlockchain and further referenced on X.
What remains unclear is the breakdown of the remaining roughly $270 million in onchain assets outside stablecoins and DeFi deposits, as well as which other protocols beyond Morpho are receiving allocations from the $500 million deployed across DeFi. It is also not yet known whether the current 7% yield through Steakhouse Financial will hold steady as deposits continue to grow, or how quickly additional capital may flow into the chain beyond this initial three-week window.
