Solana ecosystem shipped major launches in September including agent payment channels (1M payments/sec), tokenized equities ($683M supply ATH), and cross-chain routing via Jupiter, driven by $143M August app revenue and 5.2B transactions.

Solana recorded $143 million in app revenue and 5.2 billion transactions during August, with September bringing fresh infrastructure for autonomous agents. Solana Payment Channels launched to enable 1 million agent payments per second via batched settlement for x402 and MPP. The ecosystem also marked tokenized equities reaching $683 million in total supply, while crypto card spending crossed $100 million for the month—both record highs.
Practical onchain adoption expanded rapidly across multiple verticals. Retail equities arrived via Solana with SHEIN appearing the day of its Hong Kong listing and AMC and GPRO shares going live through Backpack Securities. Luxury goods entered the chain as Beezie partnered to authenticate Birkins, while real-world assets grew with Neuberger Securitize's high-income tokenized fund launching as collateral on Loopscale and MidasRWA bringing Fasanara Capital's asset-backed credit strategy onchain. Jupiter Exchange rolled out automated cross-chain routing, and MoonPay integrated Grok users with PayBox for Solana trading and spending via conversation.
Several metrics signal momentum but remain provisional. Solana's share of x402 transactions climbed to 81 percent, OnRe Finance topped $250 million in total value locked as Kamino's largest RWA market, and individual projects like Beezie hit $2.2 million in daily volume. The breadth of launches—spanning payments, equities, luxury goods, perps, and hackathons—reflects ecosystem expansion, though sustained adoption rates and whether August's transaction volume will hold remain to be demonstrated in coming weeks.
