Solana's tokenized real-world assets sector has grown more than 600% over the past year, expanding from $700 million to $4.3 billion, according to research by Castle Labs. In contrast, Ethereum's RWA market increased just 7% during the same period. Solana's share of the broader RWA landscape has risen from 4.5% to 26% of Ethereum's market size. The growth encompasses access to US Treasury debt, asset-backed credit, tokenized equities, and commodities, with tokenized stocks specifically jumping from $63 million to $455 million in value.
The expansion reflects deepening integration of yield-bearing products across Solana's lending infrastructure. Platforms such as Kamino and Jupiter Lend now permit tokenized assets to serve as collateral, enabling users to generate returns on holdings beyond passive ownership. Over $65 million in tokenized equities are currently deployed for yield generation, while other RWA products including PRIME and AUTO from Hastra and reinsurance exposure through ONyc have also arrived on the network.
Solana's broader on-chain application ecosystem is capitalizing on this asset growth. The network generated $193 million in application revenue over the past 30 days, driven primarily by consumer-facing platforms including trading terminals, wallets, and launchpads. What remains unclear is whether this RWA momentum will sustain as market conditions shift or how regulatory frameworks may eventually shape tokenized asset categories on the network.
