Solana transaction volume hit record 4.2B in July (+13.5% MoM), driven by SOL's 40% rally and growth in RWAs and DEX activity via Jupiter.

Solana's onchain transaction count reached 4.2 billion in July, a 13.5% increase from the prior month and nearly 91% higher than December 2025's 2 billion transactions. The surge coincides with SOL rallying 40% over eight days to its highest level since early February. Growth in tokenized real-world assets, which now exceed $38 billion in market cap, has contributed to elevated onchain activity alongside broader crypto market gains of $580 billion since mid-August.
Jupiter, a DEX aggregator on Solana, has captured 71% of the network's DEX volume, positioning it as a key driver of trading infrastructure expansion. The platform's prominence reflects a concentration of liquidity and order flow within a single aggregator as transaction volumes normalize to record levels.
Open questions include whether the July peak represents a sustainable baseline or a temporary spike tied to the SOL price movement, and how longer-term adoption of RWAs and decentralized exchange activity will distribute across competing protocols as market conditions evolve.
