Felix Pago, a stablecoin-based remittance platform, secured $200 million in Series B capital, with Andreessen Horowitz heading a $87 million equity round and General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund providing a $113 million credit facility. The company operates remittance flows primarily via WhatsApp, leveraging stablecoins and blockchain settlement rails to move money across borders.
The startup has facilitated more than $8 billion in cumulative remittance volume. According to reporting, Felix Pago intends to broaden its product surface beyond pure transfers to include lending and savings features, as well as an AI-driven financial assistant.
