THORWallet has launched a self-custodial crypto card available across 172 countries, enabling users to swap cryptocurrency into USDC directly within the wallet and spend via Mastercard. The Premium tier, available through an invite code for $99 or $124 at standard pricing with no recurring fees, includes both physical and virtual cards plus 0.5% USDC cashback and priority support. Monthly spending limits can be raised to unlimited upon request.
The service integrates native swaps with card settlement, allowing users to move from onchain assets to merchant payments within a single application without surrendering custody until the moment of purchase. THORWallet has also expanded its Know Your Customer process to accept more document types, aiming to reduce friction during account setup across its supported markets. The offering targets cross-border professionals, digital nomads, and freelancers in regions with constrained traditional banking options.
The card builds on THORWallet's existing cross-chain infrastructure and the company's track record in fintech recognition. The wallet's next phase aims to shorten the path between an onchain balance and payment settlement while maintaining user control over funds.
