US-listed leveraged ETF exposure has reached $420 billion, its highest level since early July, following a surge of more than $100 billion over the past three weeks. Assets under management in the category rose $40 billion to $180 billion in the same period, with the difference attributable to leverage multipliers that create roughly 2.5 times the market exposure relative to headline AUM. At the current pace, both metrics are projected to exceed their June all-time highs by next month.
