X has integrated in-app trading capabilities through partnerships with five financial platforms: Gemini, Kraken, Coinbase, Moomoo, and Interactive Brokers. The integrations allow users to trade both cryptocurrencies and stocks directly from the X timeline without leaving the platform.
The move expands X's functionality beyond social networking into financial services by embedding trading interfaces into the user feed. Each of the five partner platforms brings different asset coverage and user bases to the arrangement, though specific terms of the partnerships and which assets each platform will offer remain unclear.
It is not yet known whether all five partners will launch simultaneously, what fee structures will apply, or how trading volumes through these integrations might be measured separately from exchange native platforms.
