GenLayer has opened registration for its GEN airdrop, with eligibility windows closing on October 26. Participants must connect a Portal wallet and sign a message to register at the official site; once locked in, wallet selection cannot be changed. Eligibility criteria include holding a qualifying Discord community role or accumulating at least 150 GenLayer Points, plus evidence of contribution or Discord XP earned through the community program. A final snapshot occurs on October 25, with status remaining uncertain until that date—registration is required now even for those not yet showing eligible, since only registered wallets will be permitted to claim.
Once claims become available, allocations unlock in stages: 20 percent on day one, then an additional 20 percent each month over the following four months. Holders may withdraw at any point, forfeiting any remaining locked tokens. Season 2 of the GenLayer Points program begins October 26 and continues until mainnet launch; points from this cycle carry forward for ineligible participants or those who did not register.
