Kinetiq opens KNTQ claim window for kPoints holders
Ecosystem ยท
The protocol has finished distributing kPoints and opened a 10-day period for holders to claim its new governance token KNTQ.
Kinetiq confirmed that the final kPoints have now been distributed, with a total of 36,800,000 kPoints allocated through the program, according to Kinetiq's announcement. Holders of those kPoints can now claim KNTQ at kinetiq.xyz/kntq, with 50,000,000 KNTQ set aside for participants in the program.
The claim mechanics are fixed: eligible holders can acquire KNTQ at a set price of $0.26 per token during a 10-day claim window. Any KNTQ left unclaimed once that window closes will not remain available to individual holders โ it reverts to the Kinetiq Foundation, where it will be directed toward ecosystem and growth initiatives rather than redistributed to the original kPoints base.
KNTQ functions as the governance token of the Kinetiq protocol and is described as the primary instrument for value accrual across its ecosystem. The token carries a total supply of 1 billion and launched on Hyperliquid in November 2025, tying the claim event to a broader protocol token-generation effort rather than a standalone distribution.
The cluster shows two distinct sources covering the event, with corroborating reporting noting the same 10-day claim window and the $0.26 per KNTQ price point tied to the kPoints distribution's conclusion.
What remains unclear from the available material is how much of the 50,000,000 KNTQ allocation has already been claimed since the window opened, and what the resulting claim rate might signal about participant engagement. Also unresolved is the scale of any eventual reclaim by the Kinetiq Foundation once the 10-day period lapses, since that figure will depend on how much of the allocation goes unclaimed by kPoints holders before the deadline.
