The MegaETH token (MEGA) launched and began trading across major exchanges, marking a milestone for the Ethereum scaling project. Binance listed the token with support for spot trading, futures, margin, and lending products, with trading commencing on April 30, 2026 at 11:00 UTC under the Seed Tag designation.
The token launch followed MegaETH reaching its first key performance indicator: 10 live applications on the network. The project distributed tokens to earlier participants, including airdrops for Fluffle and Presale holders, while opening a claim window for Echo round participants. It remains unclear how many tokens were distributed in the launch, the total supply structure, or performance metrics for individual exchange listings beyond Binance. The long-term implications for network adoption and the application ecosystem growth also remain to be demonstrated post-launch.
