Quant's QNT token gained 75% in 24 hours to exceed $180, following a partnership announcement with The Clearing House for its On-Chain Money Initiative. Under the deal, Quant will provide interoperability and transaction-management infrastructure for a network designed to enable financial institutions to clear and settle tokenized deposits while integrating with existing payment systems including RTP and CHIPS networks. The Clearing House processes over $2 trillion daily across its US payment networks, with both parties targeting a launch to participating institutions in the first half of 2027.
On-chain signals preceded the public announcement by over a week. Active addresses climbed above 870 daily between September 16 and 23, compared to a ceiling of 792 in early September, while new address creation ran approximately 1.8 times prior weekday levels. After the announcement, active addresses peaked at 2,064 on September 24, the highest level in nearly a year.
Some analysts cautioned against immediate entry at current prices. Market observers suggested potential consolidation and pullback toward the $50โ$100 range before the next sustained advance, with recommendations to accumulate during retracements rather than chase the parabolic move. The asset has risen 180% over the week and briefly topped $190 intraday.
