Sonic SVM (SONIC) has been listed on KuCoin's spot trading platform, with deposits opening immediately on the SOL-SPL network. A call auction will run from 08:00 to 09:00 UTC on October 29, 2026, followed by spot trading at 09:00 UTC the same day. Withdrawals are scheduled to begin at 10:00 UTC on October 30, 2026, with trading available in the SONIC/USDT pair.
Sonic is described as the first SVM network extension built on Solana, designed for games and applications. The project uses Sonic HyperGrid, a framework for orchestrating optimistic Solana rollups, and positions itself as a Web3 TikTok app layer intended to onboard large user bases.
Upon launch of spot trading, SONIC/USDT will support multiple automated trading services including Spot Grid, Infinity Grid, DCA, Smart Rebalance, Spot Martingale, and AI-powered tools. KuCoin notes that while it screens tokens before listing, investment risks remain and the exchange assumes no liability for gains or losses.
