XRP exchange-traded funds drew $39.78 million in inflows last week, the strongest weekly performance since May, as cumulative net inflows reached an all-time high of $1.55 billion. Bitwise's XRP fund holds the largest position at $542.69 million in cumulative inflows, followed by Canary Capital and Franklin offerings. The rally coincided with XRP's sharp price movement, which jumped 70% to $1.70 before retreating to around $1.50.
The token's surge occurred after a period of dormancy; XRP ETFs saw minimal activity through most of August, with seven of eleven trading days showing zero flows. Activity resumed August 18 with $5.81 million in inflows—the month's largest single day—and accelerated thereafter. The price recovery itself lagged broader market moves by a day but eventually accelerated over a 72-hour window starting from a defended $1.00 support level.
Analysts view the current price action as incomplete. The broader trend shift remains contingent on XRP reclaiming the $1.65–$1.70 resistance zone, having been rejected from those levels. Whether sustained inflows into XRP ETFs will continue and whether price can establish new support above current levels remain unresolved.
