Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs saw strong inflows in early August, with BTC rising to $65k and ETH gaining 3% to $1,920.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their strongest week in three months during early August, pulling in over $800 million as BTC climbed from $62,200 to above $65,000. The price movement coincided with the inflow surge and weaker employment figures in the US labor market. Ethereum's spot ETF products participated in the rally as well, capturing nearly $245 million in new capital and pushing ETH up approximately 3% past $1,920.
The consecutive weekly gains extended Ethereum's ETF winning streak to five weeks running. Both asset classes appeared to benefit from a combination of institutional demand through the ETF vehicles and macroeconomic shifts that supported risk appetite in the period.
What remains unclear is whether this inflow momentum will persist beyond the initial August surge or if the movement represents a temporary response to transient market conditions and data releases.
