Bitcoin trading near $65K as capital flows to AI investments; Big Tech's $190–205B AI infrastructure spending has driven AI stocks up 69% while BTC declined 25% year-to-date.

Bitcoin is consolidating near $65,000 as investors redirect capital toward artificial intelligence assets instead of digital currencies, according to market observers. Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds have recorded seven straight days of inflows totaling just under $1 billion, a modest figure compared to the $6.9 billion that exited those same vehicles during May and June. By contrast, major technology companies are deploying between $190 billion and $205 billion into AI infrastructure this year, lifting AI-related stocks approximately 69% since January, while Bitcoin has declined roughly 25% over the identical period.
Treasury yields around 4.3% for the two-year note and 4.6% for the ten-year remain headwinds for non-yielding assets, keeping the dollar firm and risk appetite subdued. Bitcoin has fluctuated between roughly $65,300 and $66,300 over the past 24 hours, trading down 0.6% on the day, yet sits approximately 45% beneath its October all-time high. Market analysts emphasize that lower inflation, declining yields, and increased demand would be needed to dislodge Bitcoin from its current $60K–$70K trading band.
Traders are monitoring specific technical zones. The $68,000 level represents the immediate resistance point, with a break above it potentially opening a path toward $73,000. The Coinbase discount has been active for 78 days and has begun narrowing. Longer-term charts show a developing double bottom pattern that would require a weekly close above $83,000 to validate, though closing below $51,000 would negate it.
