Citi raises 12-month price targets for Bitcoin to $113K and Ethereum to $3K.

Citigroup has raised its 12-month price targets for Bitcoin to $113,000 and Ethereum to $3,028, up from previous forecasts of $82,000 and $2,240 respectively, according to reporting that cited the bank's outlook. The bank attributes the increases to stronger momentum in crypto markets, a favorable macroeconomic environment, and the resumption of inflows into exchange-traded funds. Both revisions represent roughly 35% upside from the prior targets.
The new Bitcoin target remains about 10% below the record of approximately $126,200 reached in October 2025. Citigroup projects $5 billion in crypto inflows over the next 12 months, describing the anticipated pace as slower but steadier as institutional advisers and brokerages gradually expand their holdings. The bank also noted that the recent failure of the Clarity Act in the Senate has constrained the path to a broader market-structure bill, though Securities and Exchange Commission rule announcements have helped stabilize sentiment.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs have attracted $880 million across 2026 so far, sharply reversing a period of net outflows during the preceding 12 months. Whether Citigroup's $5 billion forecast applies exclusively to spot Bitcoin ETFs or encompasses crypto products more broadly remains unclear from available summaries of the bank's note.
