CryptoQuant's Bull Score surged from 30 to 80, signaling early-stage bull market as Bitcoin climbs to $80,000, though confirmation requires a break above $83,000.

CryptoQuant's Bull Score indicator climbed to 80 from 30 over one week, marking the most bullish level since early October 2025, as Bitcoin advanced to $80,000 following a 24% gain since mid-August. Eight of the ten constituent signals now registered bullish readings, while spot buying accelerated to its quickest monthly rate since December. For the first time since early October, spot and futures demand expanded concurrently, prompting analysts to characterize conditions as an early-stage bull market.
The rally faces a technical hurdle: sustained momentum hinges on Bitcoin closing above $83,000, where the 365-day moving average sits. Until that level is breached, confirmation of a full bull market remains conditional.
Risks of near-term exhaustion persist. Traders' unrealized profits reached 20.5%—the highest since June—while large holders banked a record $614 million in gains on August 20. Rising exchange inflows for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP signal potential distribution pressure, though whether these outflows will materialize into sustained selling remains unresolved.
