Global broad money supply increased $10.7 trillion year-over-year in June to reach $150 trillion, representing a 7.7% gain and the ninth consecutive annual increase above 7 percent. This marks the longest streak of such increases since 2021, with the largest single year-over-year gain recorded in February 2026 at 11.9 percent. Since 2000, global money supply has expanded $124 trillion at a compounded annual growth rate of 6.9 percent, while the past four years alone account for $50 trillion of growth.
