Michael Saylor announced that his firm has acquired 250 additional Bitcoin at a cost of 21.5 million dollars, lifting its aggregate holdings to 848,250 BTC. In the same period, the company also repurchased 192 million dollars in preferred stock, a move that reduced its cash reserves to 5.5 billion dollars.
The latest purchase marks the fourth consecutive week of Bitcoin buys since the firm resumed accumulation efforts in mid-September following a summer pause. Holdings now sit at a record level, reflecting an intensified acquisition strategy. Meanwhile, the firm's preferred stock has begun recovering ground after trading near previous lows.
The timing of this expanded Bitcoin position comes as the firm continues its stated commitment to digital assets, though questions remain about the pace and scale of future purchases and whether the accumulated cash position will support sustained buying activity at current price levels.
