Strategy resumed its Bitcoin accumulation after a one-week pause, acquiring 811 BTC between October 26 and November 1 at an average price of $80,846 per coin, according to an SEC filing. The purchases were funded through the sale of roughly 1.18 million shares of MSTR stock, generating $164 million in net proceeds. Concurrent with the Bitcoin acquisition, the company executed a $208.2 million repurchase of its STRC preferred stock, reducing its liquid USD Cash balance to $132.7 million from $242.4 million the prior week.
The company now holds 849,327 BTC at a cumulative cost basis of $64.08 billion, translating to an average acquisition cost of approximately $75,451 per coin. Its total USD assets stand at $4.9 billion, split between the operational USD Cash account and a separate USD Reserve of $4.79 billion designated for preferred dividends and debt servicing. The firm retains roughly $748.6 million in remaining capacity under its preferred stock repurchase program.
The buyback activity coincides with STRC's transition to a daily dividend schedule, approved by shareholders in the prior week. Separately, Strategy faces potential exclusion from MSCI equity indexes under a newly finalized rule treating companies concentrated in a single asset class as ineligible; MSCI will announce affected companies on November 11.
