Macro & Markets ·
NVIDIA posted fiscal Q2 2027 revenue of $96.2 billion, representing 106% year-over-year growth and surpassing the $92.2 billion consensus estimate. Data Center revenue climbed to $89.0 billion, up 117% and exceeding the $85.8 billion projection, while non-GAAP diluted earnings per share reached $2.22 versus an expected $2.10. Non-GAAP gross margin held steady at 75.0%, matching analyst forecasts.
The chipmaker's Q3 guidance of $108.0 billion, plus or minus 2%, topped the $104.2 billion consensus view. That forward projection assumes zero Data Center compute revenue from China. The company also noted that its Vera Rubin platform has moved into full production and that it returned approximately $26.0 billion to shareholders via share repurchases and cash dividends during the quarter.
The guidance reflects both the intensity of current demand for NVIDIA's infrastructure and constraints tied to geopolitical restrictions. Whether the company can sustain this growth trajectory and the pace of demand from major cloud providers remains to be seen in coming quarters.
