OKX Global Managing Partner and CMO Haider Rafique intends to depart the exchange by the end of 2026, Bloomberg reported. Rafique has held the role since March 2020 and oversaw the company's rebranding effort while establishing high-profile partnerships with McLaren's Formula 1 team and the Tribeca Film Festival. He also played a key role in facilitating Intercontinental Exchange's $200 million strategic investment in OKX announced in March, a transaction that valued the exchange at $25 billion.
The specific reasons for Rafique's planned exit remain undisclosed. Both OKX and Rafique declined to comment on the development, limiting public insight into whether the departure reflects a planned transition, personal decision, or other circumstances. The timing places his exit roughly two years into the future.
The move marks a leadership transition at a critical juncture for OKX as it continues to expand its partnerships and international presence following the recent strategic capital injection.
