Spot Bitcoin ETFs reversed earlier losses with $2.39 billion in net inflows during a single week, bringing year-to-date accumulations back into positive territory after severe redemptions in the first half of the year. The turnaround followed particularly heavy outflows of $4.51 billion in June and $2.43 billion in May, which had pushed cumulative flows deeply negative. Ethereum spot ETFs also posted gains, adding $689.88 million in inflows to reach nearly $14 billion in cumulative net deposits.
The recovery reflects a shift in investor behavior beginning in July, with modest activity that accelerated sharply in August and September. Daily inflows topped $1 billion in a single session earlier in the week before moderating through Friday. Bitcoin itself remains roughly 40% below its all-time high despite the strong fund performance, though observers note that institutional accumulation has intensified markedly during the period.
