Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded their worst week since late June, with $681.10 million in net outflows that coincided with the asset sliding to a two-week low of $80,400. The week saw volatility across trading days—modest inflows of $118.86 million on Tuesday gave way to steep outflows of $487.07 million on Wednesday and $244.13 million on Thursday, though modest inflows of $21.13 million returned on Friday. The cumulative total for Bitcoin ETFs declined from $57.79 billion to $57.11 billion.
Ethereum ETFs fared worse in one key respect: five consecutive days of outflows totaling $541.06 million extended a losing streak that stretches back nine days without a single green day. The fund's cumulative net total dropped from $13.95 billion to $13.26 billion. Ether itself declined to $2,400 during mid-week selling before recovering to trade above $2,500.
Both assets remain under downward pressure despite brief recoveries, with Bitcoin trading near $80,400 and no clear catalyst yet identified for a reversal in fund flows.
