Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs received substantial inflows on September 18, with Bitcoin products attracting $433 million in net inflows and Ethereum products drawing $144 million. Fidelity's FBTC led Bitcoin inflows at $311 million, with BlackRock's IBIT capturing $108 million. BlackRock's ETHA dominated Ethereum flows at $114 million, while Fidelity's FETH received $26.2449 million.
The concentration of flows across a small number of products reflects the competitive positioning of major asset managers in the spot crypto ETF space. Fidelity captured nearly 72 percent of Bitcoin inflows on the day, while BlackRock dominated Ethereum trading with approximately 79 percent of that asset's net movement.
The scale and distribution of these inflows underscore ongoing institutional demand for spot-based exposure to both assets, though whether this single day's activity signals a broader trend or represents ordinary trading variance remains unclear.
