South Korea's August exports grew 72.5% year-over-year, marking the largest annual increase on record and following a 63.0% gain in July. Semiconductor exports surged 209.0% to $46.7 billion driven by AI and data center investments, while computer-related product shipments rose 419.0%. Exports to China climbed 119.0%, to the US 89.3%, to India 47.3%, and to the EU 14.6%.
