Tokenized real-world asset deposits in decentralized finance grew to $7.4B year over year, according to a CoinShares and Token Terminal report, as major financial institutions advanced tokenization initiatives. BlackRock launched two tokenized money market funds designed as reserve assets for stablecoin issuers, Wells Fargo announced plans to roll out blockchain-based deposit tokens for corporate clients starting this fall, and Broadridge tripled its tokenized repo volumes to $360B while posting 12% adjusted earnings-per-share growth. The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act vote was pushed to mid-September, delaying floor consideration beyond the August recess.
