Neutrl token holders voting on whether to resume protocol operations.
Regulation & Gov ·
Neutrl token holders are now voting on a proposal to restart protocol operations following a temporary halt to minting, redemptions, and core functions. Governance vote NTR-17 is live for 5 days, with eligible participants casting votes through the governance portal based on voting power determined by a snapshot prior to the pause. The proposal includes a restructured reserve framework, phased reopening of key functions, an enhanced risk management model with real-time reserve reporting, and a compensation allocation for users holding positions at the time of suspension.
If approved, protocol functions will restore within 48 hours of vote completion, recovery allocations will be distributed proportionally to qualifying holders, and a timeline for staged reopening will be released immediately. Should the proposal fail, the team has committed to submitting a revised plan within 14 days informed by community input. The vote represents a critical juncture for protocol resilience, with the community now holding direct authority over whether operations resume under the newly designed safeguards.
