OKX and Intercontinental Exchange have jointly filed with the SEC to launch a tokenized trading platform offering shares of 63 NYSE-listed companies. The platform, operated through their joint venture OKXICE LLC, will provide tokenized securities that include full shareholder benefits such as dividends and voting rights, with company issuers having 30 days to opt out before trading commences. The SEC recently approved a temporary exemption framework allowing blockchain-based securities to trade in the U.S., clearing a regulatory path for the initiative.
